1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Welcome Boat Trips, based at Doca de São Francisco, Portimão 8500-512, Portugal. By booking a tour, you agree to these terms in full.
2. Bookings and Payments
All bookings are subject to availability. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card and bank transfer. Prices are listed in Euros and include VAT at the applicable rate.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled departure are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure are non-refundable. In the event that Welcome Boat Trips cancels a tour due to adverse weather conditions or insufficient participants, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
4. Weather Conditions
All tours are subject to weather and sea conditions. Welcome Boat Trips reserves the right to cancel or modify any tour if conditions are deemed unsafe. In such cases, customers will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
5. Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers must arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Late arrivals may not be accommodated and no refund will be given. Passengers must follow all safety instructions provided by the crew. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
6. Health and Safety
Passengers with medical conditions, reduced mobility or who are pregnant should inform Welcome Boat Trips at the time of booking. The captain reserves the right to refuse boarding if a passenger's condition may pose a safety risk to themselves or others.
7. Liability
Welcome Boat Trips carries public liability insurance and passenger insurance as required by Portuguese maritime law. We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings during tours. Our liability is limited to the value of the tour booked.
8. Photography and Media
Welcome Boat Trips may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please inform the crew before departure.
9. Complaints
Any complaints should be directed to info@welcomeboattrips.com within 14 days of the tour. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly. The official Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações) is available upon request and online at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
10. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Portimão, Portugal.
